Back home in Suffolk in late 2005, she met BBC Radio Suffolk's Stephen Foster at a 'Suffolk Songwriters' evening.
He subsequently invited her into the studio to perform on his drivetime show and introduced her to Pat Grueber at Gemini Studios in Ipswich.
They began working on her debut album, Till Angels Fall, with a sprinkling of magic dust from some great local musicians including Jools Holland's guitarist, Mark Flanagan. She launched the album in July.
